Yes.
It depends on the year. Older engines were carbureted, new engines are TBI.
on tbi systems, usually a vaccuum leak. check gaskets on the carb, and hoses that are carb related
get a new truck..... :)
What all does the ECM computer control on my 2006 Chevy k1500 Silverado
Disconnect the fuel line from the carb with a 5/8" line wrench then unthread the fitting in the carb with a 1" wrench. The fuel filter is inside that fitting. Take note how the filter and spring are assembled into the carb for reassembly.
NO. No computer on that year.
Behind the glovebox
You have to have the computer for the throttle body carb and the fuel pump to match it good luck
Google the code and you will have the answer.
Sorry, nonadjustable. Computer handles that.
The computer doesn't control the fuel on a carb. engine, the carb. does. It also controls the air flow. So putting a new carb. on will not affect the computer. The new carb. will do everything by itself, but you will still be limited to the amount of fuel your pump can spit out and the amount of air your air intake can suck in. Then the exhaust comes into play because you can only get enough power as your exhaust system allows. To answer the question though, yes you can upgrade your carb.
Carb adjustment or computer problem depending on equipment and year
It is in a black plastic box just below the battery.
