I've had my cat go into heat twice already, so, they normally meow, cry, and wine a lot! their meows normally sound in a very deep annoying tone which is their mating call. and they probably will roll and groom on the floor, if they are doing this there is no real way to stop them, so, do not make your cat mad by trying to stop them, this is a natural behavior. do not mess with her or pick her up too much, just fed her and clean he litter as usual.

∙ 13y agowell, when a cat is in heat, they often meow around the house, not a normal meow, but rather a strange meow (lol) You may see blood, but I wouldn't worry about this since my cat has not shown signs of this yet. Your cat may try to run away in order to find a mate. They may act strange when you touch their rear as well. o_O
