Check/replace Rotor Check for spark at plugs
buy a new car
It could be either the crank angle sensor or the distributor module. If it is the distributor module, you have to buy and install a re-man distributor.
My 93 camry has no power from the distributor to the spark plugs. The car unable to start.
There is no way for us to know that.
The year, make, model and engine info would be helpful but a bad ignition module or crank sensor could do that.FYI, spark originates in the coil then is sent to the distributor then to the spark plugs.
i have changed out the crank sensor, and spark plugs. also i have checked power to the coil pack and still have no spark to the spark plugs. i changed the coil pack as well. i have fuel and i get gas thru the fuel rail. any help.
distributes the spark from the coil to the spark plugs
distributes the spark from the coil to the spark plugs
check your distributor ignition module and go test it...
Change crank shaft angle sensor ul get a spark
The spark travels from the coil to the distributor then from the distributor to the plugs. So if you have spark going into the distributor but not coming out to the plugs, I would blame the distributor cap and rotor being at fault.
Yes. Bad spark plugs, bad spark plug wires and a bad distributor cap are the common causes of rough idling. If it has been a while since you changed these components, do so.
