I'm just passing through...my '99 sonoma would drain battery after 2-3 days. Clock did not stay on but alternator had a short inside that sucked up the juice. Does your alt light come on when running? Just a suggestion, check alternator. G/L
Easyer to just disconnect battery for the time the car is sitting up.
Your battery, it happen to me, my clock would reset but the station presets stayed the same. It's a battery issue, make sure it's ok and that it's connected correct.
disconect the battery and wait nearby until the actual time is the same as what the van clock is. be advised, this will be a life altering experiance.
I had to take mine to the local Chevy dealer to get the code to reset the radio after the battery was changed. I was charged $40 by them to do this.
A clock should not draw enough current to affect a vehicle battery. You probably have problems elsewhere. i have a 2001 ranger, and mine did the same thing. i even bought a new battery, but the problem was, the eject button on the CD player was stuck in. as soon as I got it pried back out , problem solved. hope this helps.
it runs on battery electricity that powers the clock at makes it tick/the hand move
On some if you put the battery in backwards the clock will run backwards.
I can't find my manual do you change the clock battery first or the transmitter? I think it's the clock but can't remember
The first battery operated clock was in 1840.It was created by electrical impulses that went to the dials of central located master clock. It was not until 1906 that a self contained battery driven clock was invented.
Grandfather clocks, are not electrical or battery operated.
My 1993 Chevy lumina did the same thing i ended up having to get a new battery it turns out my factory radio was the problem : - )
on the battery indicator, it shows the clock battery indicator with the man standing inside the house and he is clear colored. Is this good battery or low battery indicator.
