With these madern engine, everything is computer controlled. Your best bet is to get it to a competent mechanic. It'll will save you from buying parts you don't need while someone tries to "guess" what's wrong with your engine over the internet. Nice car. We are on our 2nd Escape and will probably buy another when we're ready.
I'm not a mechanic / technician but I BELIEVE if the fuel injector is restricted so that the proper air - fuel mixture is not getting to an engine cylinder , that an engine cylinder misfire can occur ( that is only one of the causes of an engine cylinder misfire )
It means that more than one cylinder has a misfire history. PO301 would be cylinder number 1 misfire. PO302 would be number 3 cylinder misfire.
That would be that there isn't enough gas getting to them

These are Diagnostic trouble codes, not vechicle id numbers.
