EDSA 1 is extra-constitutional and the legitimacy of the new governemnt that resulted from it cannot be subject of judicial review, while EDSA 2 is intra-constitutional and the resignation of the sitting president that it caused and the succession of the VP as president are subject to judicial review.
3. EDSA 1 involves political question while EDSA 2 involves legal question.
