Generally we exercise to stay fit and in shape
So basically, aerobics helps us stay fit by keeping our heart healthy and also burning off the excess calories off our body.
And resistance training improves our muscle output and our posture and looks.
So combining both will give you a healthy body with a very good appearance. After all that is what everyone desires to have.
Aerobic exercise is for keeping the body flexible and in shape and is great for burning calories. It is good exercise for the heart as well. Resistance exercise is lifting weights or using weight machines in order to build or maintain muscle mass.
Aerobic exercises place more of an emphasis on doing cardio exercises that involve walking, jumping rope, and dancing. Resistance exercises focus more on using different weight machines in a gym. These two different types of exercises are similar in that they both can increase physical endurance and strength.
Aerobic exercise, also known as cardiovascular exercise, is key to losing weight and staying fit. This form of exercise is associated with long-distance running or swimming. The key word is "aerobic." This means that during exercise, we take in oxygen to balance with the oxygen that we exhale so that our body is in oxygen equilibrium. During aerobic exercise, you will breathe more deeply and frequently to infuse oxygen to the blood from the lungs. You will expect your heart to beat significantly faster thus pumping more and more blood. Sweating is normal because this is how the body keeps its temperature steady.
Resistance exercise, also known as strength-training, maintains toned muscles and builds stronger muscles. Body builders perform resistance exercise routinely. Some examples of resistance exercise include: bench press, dumbbell curls, push-ups, and sit-ups. This type of exercise is very beneficial for those who have had surgery in a certain part of their body or have weak areas that they want to work on. It rebuilds strength and strengthens bones which can be helpful for the elderly but be weary not to overdo it. A number of athletes use steroids to build muscles without the work and exercise. Steroids are detrimental and only weakens your body and damages health.
Resistance is strength training where aerobic is endurance.
Aerobic exercise is cardio exercise (where you get your heart rate up). Resistance exercise is weight training using resistance.
aerobic requires oxygen and anaerobic doesn't
Aerobic needs oxygen to grow.
anaerobic activities involve short spurts of physical activity while aerobic activities consist of doing an activity for a long period of time that gets your heart rate up
Aerobic refers to cardio Anaerobic refers to muscular fitness (Apex)
Aerobic exercise is exercise with oxygen, in other words, exercise that gets you breathing hard by utilizing your cardiovascular system. Running, jogging, swimming, and walking are examples of aerobic exercise. Anaerobic exercise is exercise without oxygen, in other words, exercise that does not get you breathing hard. Doing a single squat or bench press are examples of anaerobic exercise. Actually, every exercise is at least slightly aerobic or slightly anaerobic. Also, many anaerobic exercises can be made aerobic simply by doing more of them, for example, doing 50 bench presses or squats without pausing.
The difference is that ,,,You have to read the book!
The main difference between lactic acid fermentation and aerobic equation is the presence of oxygen. Lactic acid fermentation does not require oxygen, while in aerobic equation, oxygen is present.
Anaerobic glycolysis produces lactate, aerobic glycolysis produces pyruvate.
They are both types of respiration. Aerobic uses oxygen and anaerobic does not.
aerobic refers to the utilization of oxygen. exercise that raises the heart rate to a target level for a set time will condition the heart and lungs making them more oxygen efficient.
The difference between exercise asthma and regular asthma is that exercise asthma arises due to too much exercise while regular asthma is not.
