Probably not, but a loose vacuum hose (or a malfunctioning "modulator", which connects to the vacuum hose) could cause this. Also, check your Transmission Fluid level, with the vehicle on and idling for a few minutes. Do this ASAP. You're probably going to have to get it checked, hopefully by someone trustworthy.
