Could problems with the rack and pinion cause a 1991 Geo Metro to wander all over the road?

It is possible the rack could do this, but not too likely. More often than not on these little cars, the rear struts will cause this. The rear will wear out about 50% sooner than the front. Also, lift the car and check the main large bolts that attach the lower A-arms to the car body. These bolts have a safety plate with metal tabs bent over the bolts to prevent them from loosening, but it can happen (it did to me). If these bolts are loose, clean them good, and use locktite (thread-lock) when you reassemble them.

Fuel injector... At least that's why MY '96 Metro dies.. It's been fixed now of course and I've had no more problems

I think the it is the South Capital Metro, but i could be wrong about that.
