Could you be having a miscarriage if you are about 3 months pregnant and have been bleeding for at least 2 months off and on also passing tissue with an ample amount of blood?

Had no pain but bleeding for 5 days small amount of tissue present today does that always mean miscarriage?
Unfortunately passing tissue is the main sign of a miscarriage seeing that I have been through two of them. The good thing is is that it will not effect getting pregnant again. I just had a miscarriage January 5, 2009, I went back for my check up and there was another sack. I was pregnant again!! Don't let it get you down too much what was ment to be will happen.... I would find another doctor. If you were definitely pregnant and called the doctor to report heavy bleeding, he should have sent you for beta HcG tests. I am sorry to hear of your loss. It is not really an amount of time, but how complete the miscarriage is. The earlier the miscarriage the more likely it is to be complete. If you lose what appears to be a complete sac and the bleeding and cramps are no worse than a period then you can deal with this at home. If bleeding and/or cramps are severe either go to the doctor or to the emergency department of a hospital.
