Spotting While Pregnant
Could you be having a miscarriage if you are about 3 months pregnant and have been bleeding for at least 2 months off and on also passing tissue with an ample amount of blood?
How would you know if you are having a miscarriage if you didn't know you were pregnant?

Had no pain but bleeding for 5 days small amount of tissue present today does that always mean miscarriage?
Unfortunately passing tissue is the main sign of a miscarriage seeing that I have been through two of them. The good thing is is that it will not effect getting pregnant again. I just had a miscarriage January 5, 2009, I went back for my check up and there was another sack. I was pregnant again!! Don't let it get you down too much what was ment to be will happen.... The best of luck to you:}

How do you tell the difference between a miscarriage and a period... Can a miscarriage have light bleeding instead of heavy?
Asked in Pregnancy Tests, Miscarriages, Doctors
What do you if a doctor told you you had a miscarriage because you had heavier bleeding and clotting but he never looked at you or did a pelvic exam?
I would find another doctor. If you were definitely pregnant and called the doctor to report heavy bleeding, he should have sent you for beta HcG tests. That will determine if the placenta is still producing the pregnancy hormone, if it is, then you're still pregnant, if the amount is not rising, then you have miscarried.
If you have a miscarriage what's the least amount of time of pregnancy before you would need to go to a doctor for him to clean you out?
I am sorry to hear of your loss. It is not really an amount of time, but how complete the miscarriage is. The earlier the miscarriage the more likely it is to be complete. If you lose what appears to be a complete sac and the bleeding and cramps are no worse than a period then you can deal with this at home. If bleeding and/or cramps are severe either go to the doctor or to the emergency department of a hospital.
You are 8 weeks pregnant and spot bleeding is your baby fine?
Not to scare you, but it is NOT normal to bleed when your pregnant. If your only bleeding a small amount, this could mean you have an ECTOPIC pregnancy where the egg fertilizes in the fallopian tubes instead of the ovary, and starts to grow: this will result in death of the baby, and possibly fatal to you, if not checked out soon enough. If you start to bleed more, this could be an unfortunate miscarriage.
Is there any way to tell the difference between normal spotting during pregnancy and bleeding due to a miscarriage?

Is bright red bleeding during 6 weeks pregnancy leads to miscarriage?
It is not uncommon to bleed during the first weeks of pregnancy. Often it will settle, or it may continue on to a miscarriage, and the bleeding become heavier and be accompanied by cramps. To be on the safe side, take it easy, and see a doctor if it seems to be more than just a small amount, is increasing, or you develop a fever.
Asked in NuvaRing
Can you get pregnant during the first week of inserting a new NuvaRing and still have a light period when you take it out?
If you had your period for one day does that mean you're pregnant?
It is a possibility, it could be Implantation Bleeding. Implantation Bleeding is vaginal discharge which usually contains a small amount of pinkish or brownish blood. About a third of pregnant women experience implantation bleeding. It can happen at the time the fertilized egg implants in the uterus, on average between 6 to 12 days past ovulation. Unless it is accompanied by cramping, backache or increased bleeding, a small amount of blood being discharged should be considered as implantation bleeding which is nothing to be concerned about.
5 weeks pregnant had a period and now your pregnancy test is negative am you still pregnant?
What are the signs of a miscarriage?
Bleeding (usually heavy) maybe some cramping == == This bleeding may or may not be accompanied by crampy pains - a bit like period pains, or the bleeding can continue on for several days before the more serious pains kick in. Also be aware that this bleeding does not necessarily mean you will miscarry - I have always had bleeding in pregnancy and it has gone both ways. If the bleeding does continue to the stage of being an 'inevitable' miscarriage, then expect quite strong pains and an increase in the amount of blood loss. Clots - sometimes quite large - can be lost. Occasionally you may see the baby, which sounds scary but isn't so bad when it comes to it.
Can you go through a miscarriage for several weeks?
Can vaginal bleeding be a problem during pregnancy?
You are 10 days late for your pms but you are having lightpink and brown bleeding for 6 days now is a sign of pregnant?
Yes it could be a sign of implantation bleeding. Implantation bleeding is vaginal discharge which usually contains a small amount of pinkish or brownish blood. Only about a third of pregnant women experience implantation bleeding. if you have any more questions please leave a message on my message board.
What are the signs of being pregnant and still having your period?
You will not have a normal flow period that lasts the right amount of days & be pregnant. This is physically impossible sweetheart. However it is possible to experience vaginal bleeding which is light in quantity that can be mistaken for a period. This bleeding is usually implantation bleeding. If you do experience implantation bleeding it will occur 8-12 days after unprotected sex & you will experience normal pregnancy symptoms.
How can you tell the difference between a miscarriage and a period?
A lot of women track their flow and if you are pregnant and you experience abnormal amount of blood, blood clots big or small, painful cramps it's a good chance that you are having a miscarriage. First off you need to know if you are pregnant or not, if you are and you are having any of those miscarriage symptoms I named off please see your doctor immediately and if necessary go to the emergency room. If you know you are not pregnant and use birth control and experience some heavier than usual blood flow, know it could be a diet change, stress, and much more. I recommend taking some vitamin C pills daily because not only does it help keep the cold away but it can also reduce heavy menstrual bleeding.

Why do a female start bleeding when you 4 days pregnant?
A small amount of bleeding in the beginning of pregnancy is often "implantation bleeding" and is caused by the egg attaching itself to the uterine wall (when it implants, it also attaches itself to the mothers blood vessels, which is where the blood comes from). It is normal if it is light bleeding. Any heavy bleeding, or bleeding that lasts more than a couple days, should be checked out by a doctor right away.
