Could you still be pregnant if you have been bleeding with clots but have no pain and your doctor said your cervix was slightly open?

When you are pregnant your cervix should be closed tight, and you shouldn't be bleeding clots. Ask for a series of beta HcG blood tests to confirm or simply take a home pregnancy test.

Just to clarify on some comments made about home pregnancy tests. The only definative test is the Beta Hcg taken 1-2days apart. Home pregnancy tests can tell you only if you have the pregnancy hormone in your system not if it is going up. I had positive pregnancy tests for 4 weeks after a miscarriage, but my hcg level was dropping. It is always important to see your ob/gyn if you are having problems or think that you might be pregnant. A urine test is accurate but can also give false hope esspecially if you are having heavy bleeding.
