Hi. If the brakes are sticking on it won't be the servo thats at fault it's sound more like the calipers need cleaning.

Feels like the brakes operate when you turn the wheel?

The brakes could be binding or a caliper could be sticking. Remove the wheels and make sure that the brake system is operating properly.

What could causes brakes to drag eventually lock up and get very hot on a 1990 Linclon Town Car after driven about 20 to 30 miles but work fine after the brakes are cold or cooled down?

a sticking/partly sticking caliber piston is usually the culprit but a froze parking brake cable could cause the rear brakes to heat up also.

04 alero front brakes get hot why?

This could be for a few reasons, but if they are getting hot without you applying them, I would suggest that they are sticking and causing the pads to rub on the discs, or if they are drum brakes, the shoes on the drums. If they are only getting hot as a result of using the brakes, I would suggest checking that the brakes are balanced properly, and that the front brakes are not doing all of the work/ or that the back brakes are working at all.

For a 95 Ford Windstar the brakes went and the front brakes have been changed with new pads and rotors - Back brakes were adjusted and there are still no brakes - what else to do to fix it?

what you have could be one of three problems. Check your reservoir to see if it has plenty of brake fluid, bleed your brakes, they may of lost the fluid while changing brakes. Also, if you have a vacuum leak it will cause your brakes not to work. Or it could be your master cylinder or your vacuum booster that has went bad. brewski

Front brakes are dragging replaced pads rotors calipers and lines but brakes still drag what could it be?

It's rare....because usually the master cylinder will allow pressure to bleed off. Not the other way around. But if you have replaced the calipers, this is the next thing I would check. I suppose it could be sticking.

Why are your brakes sticking with the emergency brake on your 97 Taurus?

Cable is rusted, bent, or hanging for some reason. Could also be the parking brake needs adjustment. The brake is not fully releasing.

Brake Pedal goes to floor after changing brakes on 2003 Saturn L200 and bleeding brakes throughly. What could be problem Car is mint too new to be master cylinder 30K miles.?

Not really an answer, but another question... did you bleed the brakes after you changed them? I remember that is a critical step, NOT to be missed when working on the brakes. Hope this helps.

2001 ford f150 front brakes making clicking noise after changing pads and rotors. what could be wrong?

Anti-rattle clips not installed properly

Why would the rear end make a popping sound after brakes are released?

Its most likely your hand brake sticking on slightly, it could be the hand brake cable sticking or the hand brake mechanism its self. I would get them looked at because if it sticks on for longer periods then the brakes will get hot and bind or even seize on and it will ruin the wheel bearing too if it does, as it will damage the grease and will start to whine (more expense) Hope this helps
