There is a slim chance of that, but is he tired? Does he work shift work or long hours? If he's 40 or more he could be going through male menopause and all of us get those feelings "we've missed the boat of life" and try to recapture our youth to some degree. Most of us come to our senses and realize getting older is just another season in our life on earth and one to be enjoyed. As men get older they can either be quiet and lethargic, or just plain grumpy, but this doesn't mean he's unhappy about his marriage or doesn't love you. Whether we like to admit it or not, most women are in command of their marriage and are stronger than they think, so have a talk with your husband and if he doesn't want to, tell him you've had enough of the silent treatement and as man and wife you should be working things out together and if he's not willing to communicate you're leaving. Since hthe husband didn't notify his wife that he was speaking with another woman at an early time, it would be seen as cheating but if the husband asked before the calling to see if his wife would approve of it than it be alright. Plus calling another woman at that early of a time would make it sound like he's cheating.
