1. Loosen the lugs on the passenger side wheel
2. Raise vehicle and support with jack stands
3. Remove the tire set aside with lug nuts
4. Remove plastic inner fender
5. Locate fly wheel inspection plastic cap and remove
6. Use vice grips to lock fly wheel in place
7. Remove camshaft bolt ( this is the hardest part of this job )
*tip use a breaker bar with extensions for better leverage* *Or air/electric tools*
8. Remove serpentine belt
9. Remove Crank shaft pulley (tool needed $20-$50)
Installation is reverse
if it has a v6 it's behind crankshaft pulley,if its a 4 cyl.in the block
Should be behind pulley directly above crankshaft
Should be just above and in line with crankshaft pulley

its located on the front passenger side of the car.first take off the tire,then the inner fender and the crankshaft pulley will be right there. its also easier to do with air tools.
Inside the engine. It is the part that spins and has the pistons attached to it. The flywheel bolts to it on one and and the front pulley drives the belt.
How do you remove the fuel pump from a pontaic Grand Am GT 2001
Push.
Disconnect the battery. Using a metric socket and a breaker bar turn the tensioner clockwise and release the belt. Using a metric socket take off the bolt in the middle of the pulley. Use a pulley puller and pull it off.
you gotta go to a GM for that
Fluid is added through the dip stick reciever.
Look on your tire you well see letters and numbers.
