The crank sensor is behind the lower timing cover just above the center of the harmonic balancer. You must move the ac pulley the Power Steering pulley, the water pump pulleythe upper timing cover, the lower timing cover and you will follow the pig tail (wire) of the ck sensor to it's resting place on top of a brass looking blade just above the harmonic balancer. Two bolts which are 10mm hold it in place. you might have trouble getting the left one out,as it is behind the hydraulic timing belt tensioner and you don't want to take that off.I depressed the piston on the hydrolic tensioner enogh to move the pulley and belt just slightly enough to access that left bolt and then fished it out very slowly.Good luck. Don't forget to disconnect the battery before starting the job and you might have to get some radiator hoses out of the way and put some drain pans under to catch it,watch out for bees they might be attracted to the coolant and watch out for animals as it is harmful to them filter and recycle coolant.
