Firing order is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2 clockwise on cap.
Drivers side head front to back are cylinders 1-3-5-7
The other head front to back is 2-4-6-8
Drivers side, front to rear, 1,3,5,7. Pass, front to rear 2,4,6,8.
The cylinder numbers are.drivers side front is 1 then 3 then 5 then 7 passenger side front is 2 then 4 then 6 then 8 for left hand drive vehicles.

There is a pad, right in front of the drivers side cylinder head. These numbers will tell you ev erything about your motor.

On the drivers side of the engine in back of the cylinder head there are casting numbers and next to the casting numbers are raised letters either 5.7 or 5.0.
You have to look up the cast numbers on the block to see what year model,there are also cast numbers on the heads, the numbers on the block are behind where the distributor goes in, numbers on the cylinder heads are in the centers on the top in most cases

Right in front of the drivers side cylinder head, on the block, there is a little pad that sticks out. There will be a long series of numbers, starting with a letter.
Post the numbers/letters on the smooth pad just below the front of the passengers side cylinder head and I'll tell you.
