it has a timing chain and very very rarely needs replacement. They recommend checking it for wear and stretch sometime around 100,000+ miles.
No, it has 2 timing chains.....
The transmission has nothing to do with your timing belt. If your vehicle is equipped with a 2.5l it has a timing belt. If you have a 3.0l it has timing chains. Cheers!
Yes all H6 Subaru Engines have timing chains
The 2007 Subaru Tribeca does have dual timing chains.
As far as I know, all subarus have timing chains.
The recommended replacement for the Timing Belt (aka Camshaft Drive Belt) on the H-4 is 48 months or 60,000 miles. The 3.0 Liter H-6 has Timing Chains with no Periodic Inspection and/or replacement required.....
2003 and up Honda 4 cylinders have a timing chain, and the V6 has a timing belt that must be replaced at 110,000 miles.
Yes, except they are belts and not chains and except for Justy because it is a 3 cylinder inline engine.
Your timing is off,yon need to replace your belt or chain,4 cylinders have timing chains and 6 cylinders have timing belts. You need to align your cam and crankshaft pulleys to their marks and install new part.Your plugs will need to be replace also, are they fouled out.
My 2005 Subaru Impreza has a timing belt. And it just cost me an engine. Make sure you replace it based on the owners manual. Should be about every 100k miles. Don't make the mistake I made and neglect this.
1998 and up 4 cylinders have timing chains not belts, which means it is not necessary to replace.
All Honda 4 cylinders from 2003 and up have a timing chain except the 2004 & 2005 Honda Civic which has a belt. 2006 and up Civic has a chain.
