Just look for anything with out dairy in it. Fruits and veggies are good. Try to avoid meats cause they might contain butter. Peanut butter can help you get the protein that you're not getting in the meats cause peanut butter* isn't actually a dairy product. And nuts help replace meat as well. But if you can make turkey and chicken without butter, that is best.
Please note, no diet will help you lose weight. Only exercising will. Only avoid dairy if you are allergic or you need to cut down on dairy.
