the women that traveled with Aeneas got sick of moving around. so one of the women named Roma gathered the rest of the women and made a plan. while inspecting a peace of land, Roma burned the ship. once the men found out who did this they thanked the women especially Roma for finding the perfect land and thanked Roma by naming the land Roma.
