Had not Australia & New Zealand fought there; it probably would have been appropiate for Canada to help out their North American neighbor, in the fight against communism. But since Australia, New Zealand, and Canada were originally part of the British commonwealth nations; it's acceptable that only the Australians/New Zealanders can represent the both the British & Canadians.
Canada was neutral. Canadian men volunteered for the US military, some were killed in Vietnam.
