Not the traditional S10... the second generation Colorado is sold in some markets badged as the S10, and there are variants of that available with the 5.3, but that's not really the same thing.
No but, there are aftermarket kits available to bolt a V-8 in one.

I've got a 2000 chevy s10 2wd 5 speed I'm putting a 305 v8 in it will the 5 speed work on it
Oldsmobile used to make a 307 V8, but it has nothing in common with a Chevy V8.
v8. but one of the worst motors Chevy ever built. they also had a 305 v6 that was made from the early to mid 1960s
2.2 Liter 4 cylinder, 2.8 Liter V6, 4.3 Liter V6 are factory engines. You can even install a Chevy 350 V8 with the proper conversion kit.
yes, 4.3 and v8's usually use the same trans. make sure you get the right length tailshaft.
Yes, but Chevy did not make a 400 in 1985. If the car already has a v8, it is already a Chevy engine. If it is a v6, it is still a Chevy engine, but you would need v8 wiring, brackets, exhaust, etc to make it work.
There is no Chevy 4.3 V8. The 4.3 is a V6 followed by a 4.8 V8
go to jagsthatrun.com buy their book it will tell you everything
The Chevy V8 was first manufactured in the year of 1916. They didn't run very long due to them being less efficient and the excessive weight of the Chevy V8.
