A:The Bible briefly mentions more than one Daniel, but the Daniel in question is only mentioned in the Book of Daniel, which does not mention him as having children. There is no Scripture stating Daniel had married and had a child(ren). Indeed, it is strongly inferred that Daniel was made a eunuch - unable to have children - not only in the Book of Daniel but also in 2 Kings and Isaiah.

This also seems conclusive in that Daniel was not originally placed in the Prophets section of the Hebrew text but in the Writings - considered a lesser in degree of importance. A eunuch was looked down upon by the Jews.
