The three books in the old testament of historical value are the book of Esther, Ezra and Book of Songs.
In the King James Bible, two books consist of ten chapters: Ezra and Esther.
Leviticus, Ruth, Ezra, Nehemiah, Esther, Haggai, and Malachi
The OT books are originally in Hebrew, and their earliest translation was into Greek. The easiest to translate are Jonah, Esther, Ruth, Ezra and Nehemiah.
Ezra is found in the book of Ezra.
Ezra is a book in the Old Testament of the Bible and is followed by Nehemiah. Originally the Book of Ezra and Nehemiah had been one.
As the Israelites had been taken into slavery by the Babylonians years earlier, just as the prophet Jeremiah said it would happen for failing to listen to God. The books of Ezra, Esther, Nehemiah were written when captive in Babylon, or shortly after they were released by Darius.
The books of the Bible that are traditionally catalogued as "history books" are the following: Joshua Judges Ruth I & II Samuel I & II Kings I & II Chronicles Ezra Nehemiah Esther
The books of Ezra and Nehemiah were written during the period that the Jewish exiles returned to Jerusalem from captivity. The book of Ester was probably written during the period of captivity or shortly after.Answer:According to the Jewish count, Ezra and Nehemiah are one book. In addition to it, Chronicles was written during or immediately after the Babylonian captivity; and Esther was redacted at that time too (by the Men of the Great Assembly, after Mordecai and Esther had penned the original text; see Esther ch.9).
Mordecai did not write the Book of Esther. The Book of Esther is a biblical text, and it is traditionally believed to have been written by an unknown author or authors. Mordecai is a character in the Book of Esther who plays a significant role in the story.
Ezra can fly
You can read about Esther in the book of Esther in the Bible. It is my favorite book.
