Franco did not "fight" for either side. Spain had just come out of a brutal Civil War from 1936-1939. However, as Franco had been helped in that war by the Nazi Regime and Fascist Italy, Franco felt an affinity for those countries and had good personal relations with those leaders. Hitler tried to encourage Franco to join the war on the Axis side and by 1942, Franco was strongly considering entry. However, the Allied victories in El Alamein and Stalingrad in 1943 showed that the tide was reversing. Allied governments sent a message to Franco that if he remained neutral, his country would not be invaded and he would not be deposed from power. As a result, he chose not to enter the war and was bypassed by the Allied Liberation in Western Europe.
I didn't fight at all, which side did you fight on.
There's a misunderstanding here. The Allies did not 'fight for the Jews' and they did nothing targeted specifically at ending the Holocaust.
No,we decided to help them fight because they were our allies.

Francisco Franco was was the fascist dictator of Spain from 1939 to 1975 when died. He led his forces against the Spanish government and became a bloody civil war. During the civil war which lasted over 2 years, Franco was supported by Germany, which contributed hundreds of aircraft flown by German pilots. The Soviet Union, sided with the Republican government and donated military support till the war was over. Franco was pressured by Hitler to join the Axis Alliance during the war. Franco refused but he did authorize a Spanish brigade to fight on the eastern front against the Russians. Hitler had once admitted that Franco was so intimidating and that he was so uneasy negotiating with Franco! Franco was an adept leader and was harsh in his treatment toward political opponents. Despite that, the Spanish economy and standard of living was relatively high till his death in 1975. There were over 1,000,000 people that paid their respects at his funeral in Madrid.
