Your ankle could be sprained. Achilles Tendonitis occurs when your tendon has become irritated and inflamed. This may happen for many reasons. If you have tendonitis the area of your Achilles tendon would be tender, be painful to move, and/or swollen.

nothing happens to your bones when you sprain your ankle as far as I know 'cause when your sprain your ankle you're stretching the liagaments nothte bones But you can damage the bone some how during an ankle sprain 'cause I did it some how don't know though
It's a sprain in the upper ligament of your ankle. These are usually much more painful and take longer to heal. (I had one about 2 months ago and they suck). The only good part is that with a high ankle sprain there is less of a chance of recurring problems as compared to a low ankle sprain aka. regular sprain.
