No, sorry. There were 2535 produced in 1975 and 2499 produced in 1979.
Some do. What year?
1,041 1972 Oldsmobile 442 Cutlass Supreme Convertibles were produced and 130 Hurst/Olds 442 Convertibles were produced for a total of 1,171.
No cutlass supreme ever came with a 4.3. The olds 307 (5.0L) came with a th200 3 speed and 2.14 gear in the 80's. I believe there was another 2.xx gear offered but don't know which year or models. The hurst or 442 editions came with lower rear gears, around 3.73.
hurst shiftersthe hurst shifter was an option in the 68 thru 72 Oldsmobile cutlasses.
From what I have read at Automotix.com , I will say yes it will. You also have other options of engines from Chevrolet, Buick, as well Oldsmobile that fit the Cutlass Supreme. The engines vary from V6 3.8L, 4.3L V6, 5.0L V8, to 5.7L V8, depending on what year and transmission type your Cutlass Supreme has. Check with some of the Remanufactured engine websites, or talk with a shop in or near your area that rebuilds/overhauls engines for american cars. There are 2 versions of the Oldsmobile 307, a 140 HP version that can be installed in regular Cutlass, and a 180 HP version that came with the Hurst/Olds Cutlass Supreme. I don't know if these engines are interchangeable between the standard Cutlass Supreme and the Hurst/Olds Cutlass Supreme. You may have to talk with a engine rebuilder shop tech person about that. Hope this helps.
All 1968 Cutlass two doors had Chrome Louvers on the hood. All others did not. The Hurst/Olds had painted louvers. http://www.who-sells-it.com/cy/brothers-automotive-products-4264/oldsmobile-cutlass-442-parts-fall-2009-20699/page-22.html has the part if you need it.
