A couple years after it ended there was the Koreans War, Vietnam War, Iraqi Freedom, Iraqi Invasion of Kuwait and potential Invasion of Saudi Arabia, Russian invasion of Afghanistan(i think. Lits of countries named like that. Not being racist) and Georgia, and Terrorists can be considered a war and Drug Trafficing War.
The "war to end all wars" was supposedly what is referred to as the first world war, or WWI. It is obviously not the case that WWI ended wars. This phrase, or something like it, started with H.G. Wells, I believe.
