They were abused, sold, left at the doorsteps of churches, and considered grown by 7-8 years old. Wealthy girls had marriage contracts made by the parents with a family of an older man by the time they were 3-4 years old. At 12-13 they were married and often dead by 15 from childbirth.

∙ 11y agoYes they did. Children in medieval times were thought of as mini adults, and were therefore subject to both corporal and capital punishment like adults. However, the manner of infliction of corporal punishment was different. Whereas adults were flogged on the bare back with a whip of some sort (e.g. cat o' nine tails), children and adolescents were flogged on the bare buttocks with a birch rod - i.e. a thick bundle of birch twigs.

" jimmy, the time has cometh, that.. you, musntff, see the knights fightef."....if the father was a Warrior or somthing(wash his armor).... Do the laundry( u kno, water in big wooden thing, u kno dont u"...and other stuff....
