because technically shes not had a bath That might cause people staring at you in the streets because they can smell the awful stench of your sister
Today nothing, but in its prime you would smell a number of things. The streets outside were full of garbage and animal feces so that would come in from the street especially on a hot day. The smell of cooking since open fireplaces were used for meats along with the smoke of the fires. The tallow candles also smelled and created an oily smoke through out the house. The bedpans and other smells from the feces and urine of the people living there would also be present. Since a bath was a rare thing unwashed bodies and unwashed clothing would also leave a scent. Animals were also around in the streets and there may be a stall near for the horse you would own. Many businesses were mixed with residental areas would give off smells of all sorts. Life was dirty smelly in Tudor times.

Tudor shoes were mostly made of leather. Wealthy Tudor women sometimes wore shoes made from silk, satin or embroidered fabrics. There was also overshoes, called "pattens" which were made of wood. Their object was to protect your feet and regular footwear by keeping them clean and dry in the filthy streets. If I remember correctly these were a platform shoe.
People would deposit their waste out of their bedroom windows and on to the streets, that's why the place smelt so bad. (you were unlucky if it landed on you! lol)
During the Tudor period, people would shout "Gardez l'eau!" which translates to "Watch out for the water!" before throwing their waste out of the window. This was meant as a warning for those on the streets to avoid getting splashed.
