Yes, with the exceptions of NUCLEAR weapons and an INVASION of North Vietnam. Otherwise, all weapons in the US arsenal were used: SAC bombers, aircraft carriers, cruisers, destroyers, and one battleship. All land warfare weapons were used from tanks to the 175mm self propelled cannon. In addition a special "Brown Water Navy" (Riverine Boats) was created especially for the Vietnam War, not seen since the American Civil War (US Civil War) in 1862. All US branches fought in the war; from the US Coast Guard to the Army & Air National Guards.
Simple, the US.
he helped the war end and helped us get all of are pows back from the north vietnams
US, Australia, New Zealand, Philippines, Thailand, South Korea (ROK), all helped.
Without the helicopter, the war might have gone on, for the US, for 20 or 30 years AFTER the Tonkin Gulf incident...or never have been fought at all; it was that important. The helicopter made the Vietnam War. Vietnam was a helicopter war.
The US joined the Vietnam War in 1960 or 1955because there was a civil war between North Vietnam and South Vietnam, and the US was good friends with South Vietnam's goverment, so they helped out.
All of it.
We were at war with Vietnam because they disagreed with us about something.
The war in Vietnam was similar to the US Civil War because the war involved North Korea versus South Korea.
US fighters are better now...they all have guns on them! If it hadn't been for the Vietnam War, they'd all just have missiles.
All out war, minus nukes and invasion of the north.
The US phase of the The Vietnam War, (also known as the Second Indochina War) lasted from 1963 to 1975. (It actually started in 1959 but the US was not involved then). Not sure about 1963, however the Vietnam War covered 1961-1975, hope this helped.
