Not much. France and England did at first try to persuade Mexico not to go to war with the US because they didn't want to complicate treaties they had going, especiialy over the border of Oregon. But when the war started they did not get involved. After the war, President Polk agreed to let England have more land than he would have since US soldiers gained so much land in the Mexican-American War.
