Relax. There are no connections between the earthquake in Haiti, the Swine Flu, and the balloon boy.

They are not some signs of any kind of great doom. The earthquake is a natural disaster that is only caused by the forces of nature. The Balloon Boy Hoax was a parental disaster (the boy's parents planned it as a hoax and the child was never in the balloon) and they may go to jail for doing it. The swine flu is one of countless viruses that circulate among humans and have since the beginning of time.

The "end of days" that people are linking to the 2012 date is based on legend and folk tales. Don't be scared. People have incorrectly predicted the "end of the world" for hundreds of years, there's nothing to make me believe they finally have it right now for 2012.

What happens when you leave a balloon in the freezer?

When you leave a balloon in the freezer, the air inside it will cool and contract, causing the balloon to shrink in size. This happens because the volume of gases decreases when they are cooled, causing the balloon to deflate.

What happens when you release a balloon with air in it?

When you release a balloon with air in it, the air inside the balloon is pushed out, causing the balloon to fly through the air. This happens because the air being forced out creates a force in the opposite direction, propelling the balloon forward.

What happens to the atmospheric pressure acting on the balloon as the balloon rises?

due to pressure inside the balloon, will be higher because the balloon will try to get smaller and thus the balloon will ascent due to the low density of the helium inside the balloon.

What happens to a balloon when it is in cold temperature?

In cold temperatures, the air inside a balloon cools and contracts, causing the balloon to deflate or shrink. This happens because the molecules in the air lose energy and move closer together, reducing the pressure inside the balloon.

What happens to a balloon underwater?

When a balloon is submerged underwater, it will shrink in size due to the pressure of the water pushing in on it. This is because the air inside the balloon is compressed by the surrounding water, causing the balloon to deflate.

What happens to the volume or size of a balloon as it rises in the air?

As a balloon rises in the air, the volume or size of the balloon increases. This is because the atmospheric pressure decreases as the balloon gains altitude, causing the air inside the balloon to expand and the balloon to inflate.

Why do a cats fur stand up when rubbing a balloon on it?

that happens because it is electricity or static

What happens to the volume of Balloon left on a sunny windowsill?

It would increase. The balloon would expand because when temperature increases, volume increases as well.

What happens to a balloon if you keep blowing air into it?

the volume of air inside the balloon increases while the pressure of balloon decreases thus balloon inflates

What would happens if you put a balloon in a freezer?

The balloon would shrink because the average kinetic energy of the gas molecules in the balloon decreases when the temperate decreases. Go and try it is a pretty fun!

What are caused because of earthquakes?

Earthquake happens when there is alote of friction held in the ground, if there is alote the friction will release quick, when it releases an earthquake happens. if you live on the Canadian shield you are safe from earthquakes

As you walk into the cold locker room the temperature of the helium inside your balloon decreases What happens to its volume?

The volume of the balloon decreases as the temperature decreases because the particles inside the balloon move more slowly and become more closely packed together, causing the balloon to shrink. This is because gases contract when they are cooled.
