The service at the registry office last about 15mins, instead of having all the service you just go straight into the vows! At the church you have a proper service with a party etc. afterwards and it last 30-40 mins.
The Church of England is a Christian church. Perhaps you mean is the ceremony the same as a Catholic wedding ceremony? There are differences between the ceremonies, but also basic similarities.
kissing the bride is not part of the Wedding Service in The Church of England. In a Registry Office perhaps but not in Church.
A wedding is a marriage ceremony which is held in church or a registry office and also includes the party or special meal which follows the ceremony. Whereas Marriage describes the relationship between husband and wife or the state of being married.
It depends on where the ceremony takes place. In a registry/court a matter of minutes; in a church an hour-ish.

If you know the parents of the bride or groom then you could ask them. It is the best man and the maid of honor who sign the wedding registry at the church as witnesses, so you wouldn't be able to track down the brides maid that way.
There is not a really big difference. In an Islamic wedding there is a contract that both Bride and Bridgegroom agree upon as well as a dower. A gift to the bride that the bride keeps for herself. it is done in a mosque and by an Imam. In a westernized wedding (notice I didn't say "normal" because no matter the religion ALL weddings are normal) There is a church, no dower, and a priest or pastor in a church. There are a few other differences however they are both legal and binding.
You have to be a member of the LDS Church to enter the temple and due to English law you have to be married in a public place first (registry office, church, etc). Members of the LDS Church in the UK usually have a ceremony in the temple after their initial wedding.
