Exploring was moved to LfL in 1998 and is a career exploration program. Explorers are not Scouts and do not earn merit badges. Explorer Scouts are a section of the Scout Association in the United Kingdom for youth ages 14 to 18. The Scout Association does not have merit badges, but a series of progressive awards.
