Witnesses dont try to convert anyone. they just give you the facts about God and how he expects to be worshipped. The choice is yours, but if you desire to learn more they will gladly study the bible with you free of charge and at your convenience.
Dont let anyone kid you about their intentions, it is a life saving work that they seriously carry out. Just as jesus commanded his followers to do, but even jesus knew that not many would respond to his preaching, neither do witnesses expect everyone to accept the truth of Gods word. Matthew 24:14 puts it rather bluntly{ this good news of the kingdom will be preached thru out the entire inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations( not for a conversion) and then the end will come}
The question is will you listen? But dont say no one ever told you!
If they want to.
Yes, if they want to.
Some will if they want to.
No, not if they don't want to.
There is no Jehovah's Witness mandate to wear particular garb in bed. Jehovah's Witnesses (like most people) therefore decide for themselves what they want to wear to bed (or if indeed they want to wear anything). normal things....
If they want to. There are no restrictions for fishing on Jehovah's Witnesses.
I do not have real-time data on the exact number of Kingdom Halls for Jehovah's Witnesses in El Paso, Texas. You may want to contact the local congregation directly or visit the official Jehovah's Witnesses website for more specific information.
A Jehovah's Witnesses can have any pet they want. Our religion is not a cult so really you can do what you want as long as it's morally correct. If you want to know more about our beliefs, you can visit our website at: WWW.watchtower.org There you can find lots of answers and information about us. Enjoy!
There were Witnesses of Jehovah God long before Jesus was on earth. Really, anyone who serves Jehovah God, is 'by-nature' one of Jehovah's Witnesses. Actually, in the Bible, Able is listed as the first Witness of Jehovah God.Even Jesus is called in Revelation as 'a faithful witness'. Therefore Jesus was also a Witness of Jehovah God.Answer: No human started Jehovah's Witnesses. Not even Jesus started it on earth. I suppose that really Jehovah God himself started it, by CREATING Humans to BE HIS WITNESSES. Jehovah didn't want Adam & Eve to be witnesses of his adversary, Satan.If you are just limiting your question to modern times - - - well, the name 'Jehovah's Witnesses, was available for anyone before 1931. But no one wanted anything to do with that name 'Jehovah'. They had all been taught to worship his son, Jesus. For many people, just the word 'Jehovah' is an aversion (meaning it makes their stomach crawl).But there was a group that called themselves 'Bible Students'. They saw that many Bible translations deleted God's personal name from their Bibles. This bothered them. So in 1931 they drew up a Resolution; and determined to being called by what they really already were, Witnesses of Jehovah God. To shorten it up, they called themselves: Jehovah's Witnesses.
Jehovah's Witnesses can stay out how ever long they want. Personally I have been out till the 'Wee hours of the morning'. Of course Jehovah's Witnesses do believe in taking care of our bodies by getting good rest, what times we go to bed or are in the house simply don't have anything to do with our worship to Jehovah God. We are not banned to do anything. We can technically do whatever we want. But we choose to do good things be cause we want to please God. But when it comes to something like this it really doesn't matter what we do. Different households have different limitations for their families.
I will not bring upon u a long speech. lol. I will let you in on what many do not know. The Jews weren't the only ones who suffered under Hilter's harsh hand. But the Bible Students A.K.A Jehovah Witnesses. Many years after they adopted the JW name. During the concentration camps they wore a purple triangle on their clothing while the Jews bore the yellow star. They were thrown in the pit for two reasons alone, they didn't want to fight in the militia and they wouldn't stop preaching the word of God. Now that I let you in on something, do your research, it wouldn't be fair if I made it all easy. ;-)
Every one should be one and everyone should want to be one. Jehovah's Witnesses are simply individuals that recognise and praise the maker of the universe and seek his blessings.
