Yes. They are both benzodiazepines. They can, however, be differentiated by a GC/MS urine test.
Having Ativan in your system will cause the result of a urine drug test to show up as positive for benzodiazepines, which is what Valium would do. So yes, they would show up in the same way.
Both belong to class the class of "super-potent" benzodiazepines. Technically, Klonopin is more potent than Ativan (0.25mg-0.5mg klonopin = 1mg ativan), but if you are wondering which produces more euphoria, most would agree Ativan beats Klonopin. My psychiatrist recently swapped me from klonopin to ativan for my social anxiety, and I find ativan works faster and produces a much more calming effect than the klonopin did.
Yes... It's a benzodiazipine!
Yes, itll test positive for benzos.
yes
Same place you get urine tests that test for weed or crack--go online and search for drug test kits. There are several vendors.
Pregnancy tests detect certain chemicals in a woman's urine which are otherwise not present if not pregnant. Otherwise NO.
I asked my doc the same question today. I'm NOT sure about klonopin, I don't take that drug. My doctor said that taking ambien (zolpidem) together with ativan (lorazepam) is safe, since it functions on different receptors in the brain. So there shouldn't be a synnergic effect.
lol no there not even in the same drug class there....lol
My experience is that Klonopin will show up as Klonopin and Xanax as Xanax. Urine testing has become very specific (through urine testing too) and will be is able to tell the difference between the two Benzos.
No. Klonopin is a benzodiazepine and will be routinely checked for in a urine drug screen. I have never encountered a routine screen for Buspar and see it unlikely that it would ever be screened for as it is not a controlled substance.
