Yes, the MX-6 has an oil pressure switch directly above the oil filter housing, just behind the radiator. You can get to it by removing the right front splash pan and then pulling the wire off it, and removing it with a socket. The 2.5l engine has two types, so the type you will need will be stamped on the old one.

most parts are yes. most parts are also interchangeable for ford probes of the same year range (excluding body parts of course --- Many interchangeable parts on 1993 Mazda Mx6: 1993-1996 Mazda 626 1993-1996 Ford Probe some parts off the Mazda MX3 some parts off the 1998-2003 Mazda Protege some parts with 1996 are not compatible due to OBDII legislature, which changed emissions and other changes.
YOu need to blead the system .. then it should require no adjusting
What do you need to know about the exhaust, and are you talking about a 4 or 6 cyl.

Hi there , I have just changed the pressure sensor switch on my MX6 , it is located fairly centrally on the engine facing the radiator. There is a small wire that is routed across the alternator so it can be found by tracing that .I had to change the alternator and broke this by accident , you might have to remove the alternator to get to it first depending on the size of your hands and arms ,Mazda has the replacement parts and can be bought for a few pounds .Hope its helpful !!
There is no pressure outlet to check, you have to buy a fuel pressure gague kit or take it to a shop to have it checked. If you buy a kit you have to unhook the fuel inlet hose and fit it to the gauge to see what the pressure is reading.
