I wouldn't say so specifically. However yes antibodies help the bodies immune system by working in three ways. Either the stimulate an immune response to a pathogen e.g activating the complement system, they can also prevent pathogens from entering the body and damaging cells or in some case they might bind to or try to smother a pathogen to death. Antibodies have also been know to consume pathogens.

Diet is one very important way in which you can stimulate and boost your immune system

How can you be immune to a disease?

certain lymphocytes are able to make the proper antibodies quickly

How does producing antibodies protect us from disease?

Antibodies are specific. This means that they "match" the infesting disease (antigen). The antigen causes the immune system to make the antibodies which will attack the disease. Without the antibodeis, the body will not be able to fight off and destroy the disease.

Does aerobic exercise make a person immune to heart and blood vessel disease?

no

What stimulates vaccination?

Vaccines stimulates the immune system to make antibodies

Why is there not a vaccination for virus?

Vaccines put either a dead or weak version of the disease into your body. Your bodies immune system will then attack the cells and form antibodies. The antibodies are then permanently in your system and if you get the disease again it will be able to fight it fact since it already has the cells in your body to fight it. When someones body is fighting a disease their immune system is already working at fighting what is in their body. Adding a vaccine could make them even sicker.

What does the tb vaccination do?

The BCG vaccine contains a strain of mycobacterium bovis, which is a bacterium that causes tuberculosis (TB) in cattle. The bacteria have been altered so that they do not cause a TB infection but make your immune system produce antibodies. These make you immune (resistant) to the disease.

What are the 2 main parts of the immune system?

Primary versus Secondary Immune ResponseThe primary immune response occurs the first time that the immune system comes in contact with the antigen. During this time the immune system has to learn to recognize antigen and how to make antibody against it and eventually gain immunological memory. This primary response takes time (about two weeks) and during this time the person experiences signs of illness. IgM antibodies are the hallmark of a new infection because they are the first antibodies made when a person is exposed to an antigen for the first time. After the body learns to make IgM antibodies, it will start making IgG antibodies to the antigen. The secondary immune response occurs the second time (3rd, 4th, etc.) the person is exposed to the same antigen. At this point immunological memory has been established and the immune system can start making antibodies immediately. The antigen usually is killed within minutes and the person is not aware that he/she was attacked. The antibodies in this response are IgG and IgA or (in the case of allergy IgE).

What foods make your body produce antibodies?

There are no foods that increase antibodies in your body because antibodies are produced by your immune system there is no way to increase antibodies by food the only way to increase antibodies is to keep up your immune system

What are monospecific Polyclonal Antibodies?

Monospecific Polyclonal antibodies are produced by not just a common germ cell like monoclonal antibodies, but from other products. Monospecific antibodies have affinity for the same antigen.

How dos the vaccine make someone immune to mumps?

The small does introduces the body to the disease, (small amounts) so the body then can produce antibodies, so that when the body is exposed to it, it can fight it off.

Are substances that help the body make antibodies?

Vaccines help to boost the function of the immune system by encouraging the formation of antibodies for protection.

What are some examples of antibodies?

Some examples of antibodies include IgA, IgM, IgG, and IgE. Antibodies are a form of proteins that make up the immune system of the body.
