Definitely not. I asked a dude out and he was 4 years older then me. Now i may be only 14, 15 soon, but my boyfriend is 15 and he will be 16 before I turn 15. If your parents have a problem with this kid, introduce them and see how it goes. If you worried about dating someone that's too old 4 you, limit the age you want to date. My friend is 18 and will date from only 16-19...that's not so bad but then again, if your a guy, date a younger girl who's shorter so you don't look like a fool standing next to a giant girl. If your a girl, you may want to go out with an older dude and it would be better if he was a little older and a little taller. I may only be 5'2" and my boyfriend 5'3", but he's still taller and older. Also remember, if you want to make a relationship last for a while, make sure you have something in common with him/her. It'll help alot and you'll have something to do together, not just sit around doing nothing. Hope I helped! Have fun choosing! ;P
