A dolphin uses echolocation which is an advanced form of SONAR to "see" things under water. They can see quite well with their eyes above water. It's not really a substitution per se, but an enhancement of the hearing faculty to adapt to underwater conditions.

Dolphins
Dogs have all five senses, and their hearing and often their sight are better than that of humans, depending on the breed of the dog. They do not substitute hearing for any other sense, they just have very good hearing usually.
it send clicks that can travel more than a mile underwater.
They don't have good sense of hearing
It is thougth that bats subsitute sonar echoing for hearing. The bat makes a noise and recives a "picture" of the world around them
Bats use their sense of hearing to find food. They use echolocation similar to dolphins.
it depends what you classify as "the best hearing" but dolphins and bats have the best sonar hearing and owls have the sharpest hearing with one ear hole above their eye level and one below they can pinpoint the vertical positions of a sound source.
hearing is the last sense to leave
because they send like a wave out and it comes back if there is a another fish or attacker coming
