Definitely and much, much more
If you're doing something you have to lie about, it isn't right, whether it fits a technical definition of cheating or not. At the least it sounds like an emotional betrayal.
he is cheating on you
Anyone can be an emotional abuser regardless of gender. It's important to recognize and address emotional abuse whenever it occurs in any type of relationship.
Lie about it.
guys would mostly lie about what age they were if they were cheating on you and of course if they love you
If a partner is cheating on you, it is unlikely they would offer to do a lie detector test. However in some cases they would offer in hopes that you would assume they were not cheating, since they offered.
Anyone who cheats will lie. It's all basically dishonesty. Move along.
Get into batterer counseling (even if its verbal/ emotional abuse) ASAP (NO Anger Management - that does NOTHING for abusers)
Yes. Emotional adultery precedes physical sex.
Yes. Obviously, physical cheating is sex and emotional cheating is like watching porn or fantasizing about someone other than you. A person can do both at the same time and both hurt just as bad. There is no way to determine which one hurts worse, it is different for everyone. Emotional cheating seems to be the one that sticks around and causes future problems. If a spouse goes out and has sex mindlessly with someone after getting drunk, it is something a couple can work through because it wasn't like the spouse did this after months of pursuing the mistress. I might add that most physical cheating starts with emotional cheating and usuall involves emotional cheating when comitted.
Read that question back to yourself and then ask yourself why you would be with someone who you can see cheating on you and that you believe will lie to you...
It's not helpful or healthy to assume that your boyfriend would lie about specific questions. Building trust in a relationship involves open communication, honesty, and understanding. If you have concerns about honesty in your relationship, having an honest and open conversation with your boyfriend is the best approach.
