Give the prescription as directed because giving twice the recommended dose is giving too much at once.
30 mg of adderall. strattera is not an amphetamine, genius.
He will come late at night or early hours in the morning
It's recommend that a daily dose of cimetadine be given at bedtime
The risks are the same as for everyone. 40 mg of Strattera is not a large dose; for people who weigh more than 70 kg (about 150 pounds), it is the usual starting dose (and we usually increase the dosage from there). In teens, though, the medication does have a new warning about increase feelings of suicide, especially when starting it or changing the dose; your physician hopefully warned you about this and mentioned how to get help if you do start feeling this way. I have prescribed lots of Strattera to teens and find that most people do not have side effects. A few have mentioned some nausea, which is usually resolved by having them take the medicine with food in the morning. Taking it at night has seemed to lead to some sleep disturbance in some as well. The biggest problem some people have with Strattera is it not relieving their ADHD symtpoms; if this is the case, the medicine either should be increased up to the maximum dose or switched to another medication--or the diagnosis should be re-examined. Talk to your physician if you have any concerns about Strattera or any other medications you may be on. Hope this helps! Dr. B.
Yes...you can get up in the morning..but it is best to take a smaller dose so youll know how it effects you.I take 400mg and am a bit groggy in the morning but I still get up.

Yes, after my first dose (which was taken at night) I had diarrhea the very next morning. It is a side effect of the medication, but your doctor prescribed it to you because he thought your need for it was greater than the possible side effects.

My doctor actually put me on .05 mg of Lorazapam and 20 mg of Lexapro at night. and I take Lorazapam in the morning same dose.
I am wondering this same thing. I never slept well, being tired during the day and really awake at night. I have been taking Strattera for 6 days now (just upped from 18 -> 25mg yesterday) and I seem drowsy and heavily yawn during the day.Answeri found that taking stattera around 2 pm, every 24 hrs, seems to work for me. that way i am not tired during the morning, i sleep at night and it helps through the "down time" of the day. Dani T AnswerI have also found that the afternoon is the ideal time to take Straterra. I began by taking it in the morning, but found that by the evening I was, while not incredibly so, more fatigued than I had been previously. If I take it 8-10 hours before I am ready to sleep, it is ideal.AnswerI take strattera in the morning as soon a i wake up i have been taking it for roughly 2 months. You may seem very tired during the day at first, but as your body gets used to it the fatigue begins to ware off. I have always had trouble sleeping usually getting 4 hours a night and as long as I don't sleep during the day I can go strait to sleep. Good luck with the medicine!
I do not know specifically about Enzyte, but I currently take a small dose (2.5 mg) of Cialis concurrently with my 80 mg daily dose of Strattera. This was prescribed by my doctor to help fight the sexual side effects of Strattera. There have been no negative interactions that I can tell and the Strattera sexual side effects have pretty much been eliminated. If you are taking Enzyte to combat sexual side effects of Strattera, I would suggest talking to your doctor or at the very least the pharmacist to find out if there are any possible interactions. As far as I know, Enzyte is completely herbal (and from what I've heard... a placebo), so it probably won't have any interactions, but it is better to be safe than sorry!
