No. The Gir Forests in Gujarat, India is called the home of the Asiatic Lions. Though Asiatic Lions roamed in most forests in India, extensive habitat loss and inconsiderate hunting wiped out the lion species in all other forests of India. The Gir Forest is the only known forest in India where the Asiatic Lions can be found.
Yes, the African Savannah. There are no wild lions living naturally in the Americas, except in zoos and sanctuaries. Lions only exist in Eastern and Southern Africa and a very small population in India.
Black lions do not exist.
Asiatic lions occur in the Gir Forest of India.
lions can be found in India and northern Africa.
I have read a lot of nonsense answers on this question. Lions and tigers are found in India, but they do not co-exist. There are approx 400+ Asiatic Lions to be found only in the Western stats of Gujarat in a particular national park called Gir. There are no tigers in this national park. The Bengal Tiger now numbers approx. 3000 in the 2018 census in over 50 natioanl parks across India, but no where do the two species co-exist. A fully grown male tiger can weigh up to a third more in weight than the equivalent lion.
