yes. all the time. this is completely normal. i own 18 mice and they do this all day.. im always cleaning the cage :/

My two mice poop in their wheel every day. This is normal behaviour for mice. They are smart little creatures but they still poop in their wheel. I just wash it with hot water and mild soap, like Dawn for dishes, and rinse well and dry, then put it back.
