In my career of thirty-seven years as an IT technician we had always brought up new computers to burn for a couple of day just to make sure that the equipment was built right, so when the software was loaded there would be no issues with the equipment. This can also be done with your personal systems. As for charging the system, if it is a Notebook or Laptop the battery should always have a full charge.
1. You can use computers to learn new things.
No one is in charge of English. Languages change through time and English has. Words dealing with computers are fairly new to the English language. New words are developed all the time that end up in common use.
Rechargeable batteries normally have to be charged fully before first use.
You may not have to, as some batteries come with a little bit of charge in them. However, I would say to charge it before you use it, so its at full capacity.
usually 2-3 hours or 5-6
Seismographs still, but computers make it faster and easier to use
Add distilled water before for you charge it. Do not use tap water.
yes fully
If there is some form of copy protection on the material downloaded from iTunes you can only use it on your own (authorised) computers - so you cannot give away copies to everybody you know. You can have up to 5 authorised computers. If you get a new computer but you have already used up your 5 allocations you will have to deauthorise an old computer before you can use the new one.
Yes, you should always charge new phones ( Li-Ion Batteries generally) before the first use. You can, however, use it once you have it plugged in because it continues to charge (although at a slower rate) when it is plugged in. All you need to do is make sure the battery is at 100 percent before unplugging it or the battery will run down faster.
The reason why you have to charge a new phone for 8 hours before you first use it is to allow the battery to completely charge. This is what the manufacturers recommend. It usually does not take 8 hours for the battery to be full so you can unplug the charger when it is fully charged.
It depends on how long the battery has sat around from where it was purchased. Its never a bad idea to fully charge a battery before its first use. Most new batteries only have roughly an 80% charge. An alternator is not designed to full charge a battery but maintain a healthy one. By charging a new battery you ensure that your getting the most out of it by not allowing sulfation from charging and discharging to the batteries original 80 percent.
