How many times a week do you clean a fish tank?
it really depends on the size of your tank and the capacity of your filter....i have a 10 gallon tank and a 10-20 gallon filter so i clean mine once every 2 weeks...if you want your tank to remain crystal clear all the time, clean it once a week....mine gets a little bit cloudy by the end of 2 weeks.....really its up 2 you but atleast 1 every 2 weeks is recommended....

How do you clean a gas tank?
It depends whether or not the gas tank is rusty. If you want to clean a rusty tank, you will need some phosphoric acid. Mix the phosphoric acid with a bit of water and fill the tank with it. Let it sit for about 24 hours then drain it. If the tank is severely rusted, you may want to fill it with water, a teaspoon of dish shop, and some type of small hard item (nuts, bolts etc). Wrap the tank in a blank and put it in a box, wrap the box with towels. Put this all in your clothes dryer on a cool cycle for about an hour. Take it out and empty the tank. See all the massive chunks of rust come out, now go the phosphoric acid route. Otherwise you can use a paint thinner in the tank to clean it. Whichever method you use, once your tank is clean it should be re-lined with a produce such as POR-15 or Kreem.

What happens when you put too much fish food in a tank?
(I am assuming that you have fish in the tank.) Ultimately, you will overfeed your fish. He/She might get a little bit fat or if they get full, they just wont eat the food! If you put too much food in the tank you should clean it out. The food will just sit at the bottom of the tank until it is cleaned out.
How do you change a betas fish tank?
to change a fish tank you have to take the fish out and put it in a separate bowl with some of the water from the old tank. Then dump out the rest of the old water in the old tank, and clean the tank. don't use soap. Then fill with tap water, and use a water conditioner (you can buy at a pet store) and wait 10 minutes. Then put the fish and a little bit of the old water back into the tank. (:
What is the easiest way to clean a fish tank?
That depends on how dirty it is and what kind of dirt needs to be removed. If the tank is foul/putrid then it will have to be stripped down. Remove fish, remove water (syphon out) save good water plants, remove and dispose of substrate/gravel/rocks/etc. Clean heaters, thermometer, filter parts and media. Scrub all surfaces of tank with clean scouring pad. Rinse out and replace substrate/rocks/gravel etc. Then set up tank not forgetting to get some old filter medium (aerobic bacteria) to cycle the filter/tank. Job done. If the tank is not very dirty but just has a bit of mulm in the bottom and algae on the sides then a scrub with clean scouring pads will remove alge and the mulm/muck at the bottom can be syphoned out with a hose or a commecially available syphon kit.

How do you remove a fuel pump out of a 93 grand prix?
It's in the fuel tank. You'll have to empty the tank, unhook battery for safety, jack up rear of car, support the underside of tank, undo the tank straps, lower tank a bit until you can access lines and connectors, label them as you need to remember what goes where and disconnect them all. carefully lower tank out. clean debris from around tank unit. use a hammer and a screwdriver to turn and undo lock ring and remove it. then it shuold come out for you.
What happens if you ran out of gas in a 1989 Ford Tempo?
other than getting a bit of either water and or slug in your injectors it should be nothing should happen... get a carb/fuel injector cleaner in your gas tank fill up the tank with gas 89 octane or better and drive. I also put GAS antifreeze in at about half a tank and run it almost empty to clean my tank out before and after the winter which is when water can best get into your gas tank.

How do you changeout the electric fuel pump on a 95 Jeep Wrangler?
undo battery. disconnect the fuel filler next from the body. Diconnect the fuels lines. Take off the tank skid plate thingy. Put a jack under the tank and undo the straps. It should drop down. I recommend getting some clean gas cans and get as much fuel out of the tank as necessary first. You might have to lower the tank a bit before you can get the lines and connectors disconnected.
