Well, you dont have to put anything inside daily just put a little bit of Tap Water Conditioner every time you wash the fish tank with tap water. If its a big fish tank do wash it every week and if its small wash it every three days.
Yes! You should never use chemicals to clean your tank, especially while there are fish in it.
To clean the pump or motor of your fish tank, just rinse with water. If you use chemicals or soaps it will most likely kill the fish or damage it tremendously. just rinse it well with water and you will have a nice and clean pump for your fish tank.
Adding chemicals to a fishes water is like adding chemicals to your air. No one likes chemical muck in their air and fish don't like chemical muck in their water either. The ONLY chemical I believe should be used is the one that is added to neutralise Chloramine in tap water. If the water supplier does not add Chloramine then there should be no need to add chemicals. If a fish is seriously ill and I KNOW what to add to fix the illness I will do so but the best medicine for most fish problems is a few large water changes with good clean water.
To clean the pump or motor to a fish tank, run the pump\motor under water.Do NOT use chemicals or soaps as this may result in your fish dying or being tremendously damaged.Rinse it under water and you will have a good and clean pump again.
Chemicals get if fish. Penguins eat fish. Chemicals get in penguins. Any Questions?
you can go to a pet store and buy a betta water treatment for fish. read the back and it should say that it removes the harmful chemicals for the fish from the tap water. If you have any questions, ask an employee. They will help you.
I clean my male betta's 1gal bowl at least once a week
you should have clean water in it and try to keep it as clean as possible
clean it every 2-3 months depending upon location of tank if it gets a lot of sunlight or no sun light. Add simple chemicals to keep to water clean and balance.
Every week so your fish can feel like their at home.
you must clean out your fish tank on a daily basis (every day) and tohelpkeep the tank cleaner get some algae eaters and(or) some snails but you would still have to keep cleaning your tank every day.
I highly suggest you not to use wipes because they contain some acid and chemicals that might harm the fish's skin and lungs, since they swim in it and breathe the water. You'll have to clean really thoroughly if you do use it though. Hope this helped! :)
