Yes
"Potatoes, which were first grown in America, helped increase the number of people living in Europe. Corn from America did much the same thing for Africa's population."
Corn and potatoes are native to the Americas. They didn't reach Europe until the 15th century. The same goes for tomatoes, chocolate and squash.
I just hate the potato chips. You should eat the same only, if there is nothing else is available to eat. Potatoes do not contain much of the vitamins, except in the peels of potatoes. So only part, that can be eaten in the potatoes is peels of the potatoes. Potatoes contains very less amount of proteins. It contains very high percentage of carbohydrates. Frying the potatoes add to the misery. I always gave lecture to my students about not eating the potato chips. But they, specially the girl students used to eat the same only, just in front of me!
No. typically 1 cup (156grams) of button mushrooms have 8 grams of Carbohydrates. Compare that to 32 grams for the same mass of potatoes. That's four times the amount of carbohydrates.
No, they didn't have corn in Europe until after the 1400's when explorers came back from the New World with it. It is the same with potatoes, tomatoes and chocolate.
Indian carbohydrates are the same as any country's carbohydrates
"Cow Corn" or animal feed is simply corn that is harvested later than sweet corn. "Cow Corn" is then dried and used for animal feed, or used in ethanol. Field corn is a far less sweet for of corn and is not the same as sweet corn. It has more carbohydrates and is grown differently. Most corn will grow only one ear per stalk. Newer hybrids of field corn can grow two or three ears per stalk. It has a far drier taste then sweet corn.
If they are the same size.
An athlete has the same nutritional needs as everyone else but uses more protein (for strength) and carbohydrates (for energy).
Corn :) BTW Corn and Maize are the same thing! :)
yes glucose is the same thing as carbohydrates in a plant
"Gluten" is a made up word. Sugar, once in the body is sugar no matter what it derives from. So yes, corn has "glutens" "sugar" and starch. Sugar is sugar, gluten is fakeANSWER:Gluten (from Latin gluten, "glue") is not a made up word. It is a protein composite found in foods processed from wheat and related grain species. Corn syrup solids have no nutritional value, other than calories, but they contain no gluten proteins and therefore, would be safe for people who cannot tolerate glutens.
