Obviously schools' try their best to prevent bullying but they could do better. When they introduce the campaign to stop bullying they are enthusiastic but during a course of time it seems as if they have forgotten their project!
I have been in some sort of situation that me and my friends asked that question quite a few times. These are some reasons from my head;
- they just don't care
-its too much of a hassle
- Independence for the kid
-get the kid to stand up for himself
they might try but its really hard if you really think about, getting the bullies to be nice to the kid, get the kid to be strong, having talks with one another 7 in the end it USUALLY keeps carrying on, so they just give up b/c they know they have to do alot of calling & talking & life lessons :)

The biggest reason is so they don't end up getting sued by the bullies parents for looking at little jonney sideways.
yes my teacher hated me she screemed at me for nothing. tells my mom and dad I stink at math. calling me names. she even made it posible for me to die once. If a teacher bullies you tell your mom and dad and they can talk to her and if she still is talk to the school hedmaster that's what I had to do and even worst tell a police tell them she's braking the law on you!
It depends on the schools and the situation. The schools cannot change hearts and minds. They usually have bandage solutions to the problem, and often they punish the wrong people thinking they are the bullies rather than the victims. Some districts are trying to control what students do in their free time while supervised by their parents. I can see the reasoning there, but that is not a good solution, and the bullies will still find ways to bully.
Schools can teach why bullying is bad, how to spot it, and how to stop it, but they cannot actually make anyone take this in or put it into practice.
In my opinion it all depends on the teacher
ALL schools should try and prevent cyber bullying or ANY kind of bullying. Depsite the fact they prevent it, there is always a chance it will happen.
Various schools are taking different actions to prevent bullying. One of the things some schools are doing is to implement a workshop for staff on how to deal with bullying.
they speak to the children bullying if they carry on first and final warning if they STILL carry on they will be expelled
The best action to take is to warn the person bullying other kids and advice them on to never bully again...
By having COPS working in the schools to help prevent bullying and any other physical abuse to other students would do the trick =D
1. Remove or expel students who express and or show passive aggressive bullying behavior. 2. Education to students about the effects of bullying and consequences. 3. Better parents!
There are different types of bullying in schools.
To help schools fight bullying
One campaign used in schools for anti bullying is the no tolerance policy. If any student is found to be bullying, they are immediately expelled.
Well it does occur especially though cyber bullying.
Not enough.
The most common place to be bullied can vary, but often it occurs in school settings such as classrooms, hallways, or playgrounds. However, with the rise of technology, online platforms are also becoming increasingly common places for bullying to occur. It's important to address and prevent bullying in all environments.
Should bullying be addressed by schools or by parents? i think by schools because when the kids are at school it under the kids supervision and under there responsibility.
