There are many ghost towns in America that are not all typical old western towns. Ghosts towns in Massachusetts include the abandoned settlements of Dogtown, Catamount, Whitewash Village, and Long Point.
One of the functions of the western cow towns in the 19th century was a transportation hub. They also functioned as a place for people to buy merchandise and seek entertainment. The characteristics of the cow towns were that they had saloons, motels, and grocery stores.
In most western towns you could find at least one prostitute. When the cowboys came in to town they were ready to spend money. Liquor, women and a good time, then on back to work or the trail.

The most easterly towns in Western Australia are - Eucla 128.52 E Kununurra 128.44 E These are towns as distinct from settlements or railway sidings, etc.
Rattlesnakes are not in the Niagara Frontier, as I know, but there is such thing as a timber rattlesnake, which is occasionally found in the Southern Tier of New York, and Western Pennsylvania. So pretty much, it's not in Buffalo, but in the south Towns.
